Festival of the Silk Road Celebrates Silk Road in Music, Dance. The music and dance of Afghanistan, China, Iran, and other stops along the ancient trade route known as the Silk Road were recently on display at a cultural festival in California. The Festival of the Silk Road brings together immigrants and others to celebrate the cultures of the Eurasian trade route.
